The Demographics
The main gender of the demographics of Disclousure was male which was not supprising as electronic music tends to attract more male listeners than female. Upon closer inspection of the results there was only a difference of 1.2% between the male and female audience size which would mean that the music video that we made would have to appeal to both genders.
The age range of the Demographics was not supprising as the duo are both in there early twenties, it is conventional that the electronic music genre is more for a younger but still mature age range meaning that the perfect age range is 18 - 24. This means that we will have to make the music video upbeat and visually impressive (not just cliche) so that it appeals to this younger age range.
The top age region for listening to the duo is in London. This is expected as it has the largest population of any city in the UK, but also, as the demographics show, 18-24 contains the age of young professionals. One conclusion from this is that the music may be being used as background music, for example on a commute to work or when shopping etc. This means that I need to make sure our music video stands out, to make people want to watch this genre of music as well as using it as a source of background music.
The Hobbies and activities section highlights that the audience of disclosure are very active. This means that our video has a good way to engage the audience as we were wanting to involve a running element into the video, which was inspired by Justin Bieber's - "I'll Show You".
The main searches for the audience is around music (either listening or concerts) this shows that the audience is very music orientated.
