In this music video, there is a strong use of vibrant colours, along with a variety of shot types, including close ups, low angle medium shots, establishing shots, and wide shots. In the opening there is dialogue and diegetic sound in the opening, this is something I would very much like to replicate. Titles for the name are also used as shown in the first image, introducing the characters suggesting that the video is a 'narrative'. On the clock, which proves to be a significant object, there is a focus push, I would also like to incorporate this in my production. The song drifts in with the 'tick tock' of the clock, which is also the start of the song, therefore this sound acts as diegetic and non-diegetic, leading to a smoother audio transition. The visuals alter in speed depending on the speed of the song. With regards to lighting, as well as the vibrant lighting, fire light is also used. Towards the end of the video there is a sudden change if events, whereby the narrative almost cuts off, and 'performance' takes over. The final shot fades out, I'd like to use this as the final shot of my production to reduce the affect of an abrupt ending.
