During the pitch Charles and I portrayed how we were going to format our music video. We discussed how we had decided to change the song from our first choice - 'Say your name' to 'It's Only', still be ODESZA. When going over our idea with the teacher, in hindsight, we came to realise that the persona of the song was summery and in terms of representing this visually it would need shots which are warm, using yellows and sun etc. However the production is to take place over the course of autumn and winter given the time I have available and with shorter days it makes this even harder. I looked through some more of their work and Charles and I brainstormed a few song ideas, 'It's Only' worked best. The reason for this we both feel is that the song lyrics are better to represent with the visuals, which gives me more to talk about during the analysis as we can involve a narrative to the lyrics, which was difficult to do before.
