Production Diary - February (Shoot 4)
During an editing session (using Premiere), although I was very pleased with the development and continuous growth of the product, I quickly came to the epiphany that I wouldn't be able to finish the video with high quality shots and I didn't want to sacrifice quality in order for completion. Charles and I met and we deliberated ideas, I came up with the idea of using printed photographs, with the zoom transition zooming into the shown location, but not only that, having it of the two while in happier times, zooming into an empty image or of the protagonist alone reflecting. It was one of the more complex things we had set as a goal but more than achievable. On the 6th of February, Charles, Sarah and I went to fewston reservoir to get the photos we would need to then print as a prop for our video. The shoot went smoothly and we got the shots we needed fairly time efficiently. We postponed the next video shoot which would take place at my house till the next day so we could get the photos printed, and so we didn't occupy all of Sarah's time when she had previously made plans.
