All these images were taken from 'Google Images' after Charles and I sat down and looked online at various possible locations which were very local and within walking distance. We brainstormed a potential route with the photos above being in chronological order. After doing some secondary market research on these places, I decided it would be best to visit these locations personally and gather some first hand images and video clips. Below are clips I took personally using the iPhone 5 while walking the potential route we will take.

White wells is an iconic image to the moors, it's architecture is aesthetically pleasing with a stunning backdrop which we will be able to capture with a drone. The building isn't symmetrical and therefore we can shoot from various angles keeping it engaging.
This location is south of White Wells, offering views down the valley. Just up past the iconic building is a pathway leading up 'the tops' as it is referred to, with stunning views down the valley. With the potential idea of a romance for out production, this location is very romantic along with being aesthetically pleasing.

This image shows the stairs which lead up to the fourth location. The sun rises up from behind the stairs and can create a silhouette off the hill. There is little significance to these stairs, however when you turn and look back on your way to the top you may be able to capture some stunning shots. However, by this altitude and any higher the wind speeds unfortunately start to pick up, therefore, this factor will need to be taken into consideration when thinking about using the drone here.

Moving further east we will arrive at the Cow and Calf rocks, these are a northern treasure and an iconic landform attracting many tourists; therefore when viewers see this location they may be able to relate and as a result their engagement in the video is increased. I found this personally when watching Justin Bieber's 'I'll Show You' music video set in Iceland.
Looking east while standing on top of the Cow and Calf you see down the valley which was carved during a glacial period, where these two huge boulders were deposited.

Moving 90 degrees north you see down into Ilkley town itself. This view could hold metaphorical value with him looking back at previous conversations and locations with the use of flashbacks where the audience can began to graft together his past and therefore can relate to the protagonist.

Looking east you can see the forest where the next location will be. Here you are looking up the valley which is less populated,

Within the forest is a variety of flowers and colours, along with shaded areas adding character. Here hand held shots would be more appropriate due to the danger if overhead branches and a more enclosed environment.
This is the final location / first location is The Tarn. I say first and last because it could work as both. This is also a local tourist attraction and very aesthetically pleasing to shoot with animals and activity throughout the day, this could interfere with shooting though so we will consider this.

This a short edit of clips I created while location scouting. I decided that during the exploration and research stage of location scouting I would film as we went; By doing this we are then able to look back through the footage and see if there is anything that we may have missed. We got practice shots and assessed key areas we wanted to film, we looked to see how these places essentially would come out on camera, or whether they would be somewhat anticlimactic. Overall we are very happy with the results (considering it was shot on a point and shoot in questionable weather).
