On February 20th, after I returned home from a weekend away, I met with Charles to continue editing. The first thing we need to do was to get ourselves up to the Cow and Calf rocks, however the weather was an issue; we persevered anyhow and got the shots. Over the course of the next few hours we worked these clips in and began colour correction.
How did it turn out? While editing, we weren't best pleased with the shots having rushed them in harsh conditions. Instead we looked to aim to get the majority of the colour correction done but found issues with this too, to overcome this we will seek expert advice on colour correction before taking on the task to get the most out of the clips (not losing detail) and achieving the conventional style we found during research.
So what now? We are going to meet on February 21st, and shoot a re designed ending. The new concept should provide more clarity and absorb more time helping us see out the song. The weather predicts bright and hopeful working in our favour, after this we will edit the new clips in, and export a 3rd rough cut.
