21st February, 1:27pm. By this point we had re shot our ending and began to try to implement it into the text. The new ending includes a shot of the protagonist driving back home and taking himself to bed, using a flash-bang sound effect to resemble a black out, then waking up questioning everything he had 'thought' about, which is a direct link between the lyrics and visuals.
However, we came across one issue which was the link from the previous clip to this scene. In the video it didn't quite make sense as to why he was suddenly in the car. I thought of the nearest woodland area and we scouted a few various locations to where we could work with and chose our favourite. We filmed a scene of the protagonist panicking and stressing over the argument and getting into his car and driving away. The reason the woodland area was so important is the clip before is the shot of him running through the woods.
Overall we are very happy with the development on the music video and are going to export a Rough Cut 3. From here all that is left to do is colour correction and any adjustments recommended to us via audience feedback which we shall carry out.
