Rough Cut 4

This is my rough cut 4. The progression in this from that of the third rough cut is colours and titles. This is our first attempt at colour grading and there are still areas we would like to balance, for example near the beginning by the tarn where the greens and reds are bolder in certain clips compared to others. I am however very pleased with the progression through the rough edits. From this point I will now look to gather as much audience feedback as I can and work forwards with these comments made by my target audience in mind, making adjustments which have been recommended where necessary.

How far off completion am I? I would estimate around 10 days. Taking into consideration there will still be areas where I will change things, then writing this up on my blog will hopefully take no longer than 10 working days. While working on the edit I am also taking control over the magazine advert production while Charles finishes the digipak production, this way we will have both completed in a shorter time frame and can focus on the analysis questions.

What will rough cut 5 consist of? Any extra changes we wish to make and perhaps another approach to colour correction if we feel necessary. This will all be determined through audience feedback.
