I actually put my knowledge I learnt from the first tutorial, and put the two aspects together. I used the same template and replaced the titles with the logo Charles re-drew on Illustrator. I then used what I learnt in this tutorial to creat the RBG split to conclude the sequence. The overall ending can be found at the bottom of this blogpost.
Overall I am very pleased with the outcome. Charles and I were able to use what we learned and alter it ourselves to our own preference, rather than just following the tutorial step by step and not being creative about it. Therefore we come out with a unique and original version of a widely used technique. The outcome looks technical and displays something which denotes and signifies electronic and dance music. This concept is very important for us to follow as we wish to remain within the conventions and not challenge them.
The one single worry I had was whether it would flow from the final shot to the title sequence. The song works on our favour as there is almost a buzz in the background which connotes electricity, therefore continuity wasn't an issue. Audience feedback has been very positive from this, saying it looks professional and impressive.
The transition between each title was also altered. Cutting from one to the other didn't flow nicely in my opinion so we added a preset transition named Iris Box which created a subtle yet effective transition from one to the other.
